It’s no secret that I am overtly OBSESSED with Lady Gaga, and that I have been COMPLETELY going insane in anticipation of the new video, Alejandro. Today it FINALLY premiered and I must say that I was pretty surprised. I expected this video to be different, but gaga, in natural gaga fashion, took it to an ENTIRELY different level. There were so many controversial elements she explored, The german nazi era, homosexuality, religion, fashion, art, and MADONNA!
Upon early research, i discovered that this video was meant to showcase Gaga’s love for art through fashion, and she achieved this with all of the outrageous and heavily controversial looks she explored but I must admit, I was a little bummed in that department, I mean, HELLO! Where for art thou couture?!
but in the end, I LOVED the overall video. I appreciated how she showcased homosexuality and her appreciation for her LGBT fanbase and I also admired her courage and fearlessness to grab controversy by the horns and ram face first into it. But I mean, its Gaga, SO WHERE IS THE COUTURE?! But, hey, at the end of the day, I can just wait to see photos of her boarding a plane for that. Anywhoo, for those who have yet to see the video, here is the link:

Sailing through Resort collections!

For starters: I HEART THAKOON!!!!
Since hitting the fashion world in 2004, he continues to deliver chic and innovative pieces. The khaki trench in look one is my new obsession! Time to start saving! Alexander wang NEVER disappoints! Harems, high waists and thigh highs with sandals are my new love, although everything did look A LOT like a continuation of his spring/summer 2010 collection, I still LOVED it! The florals and the color palette in Chanel was GORGEOUS! I swear, Karl is one of the ONLY designers that isnt sending me into an epic depression because of this recession! The way he explored so many different styles and design aesthetics was genius! He’s definitely my idol for good reason. The shoulders and many of the dresses in Bottega Veneta were lovely! DIOR made me want 1,000,000 mod BARBIES and i’m incorporating pink into my wardrobe every day this summer! The tailoring in yves saint laurent was HAUTE! I’ve never wanted a bandeau so bad! Donna screamed “I AM WOMAN, I AM POWERFUL AND MY ENSEMBLE SCREAMS IT ALL FOR ME! She is definitely a magnificent designer; one that knows how to construct garments that make women proud to be women while also making a statement that we are even BETTER than men. She is a designer I definitely look up to. Michael Kors? Was pretty bland for me, I LOVED the final look though, but then again, that could just be my obsession with chanel iman. Finally, I WANT BURBERRY’s BAD ROMANCE! Well, those are my interpretations thus far, be sure to let me know what you guys think. Photos By: Style.com
Goo Goo for Gaga’s new video!

Going APE-SHIZ for ALEJANDRO!

As you all will soon discover, I am CARAZY! about Lady Gaga, her image is AMAZING! Something like a modernized Madonna with a psychotic twist. The fact that she’s SO DIFFERENT and completely UNRESTRICTED makes her that much more appealing to me. I am SUPER EXCITED about the new Alejandro video. I love how she’s ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING NEW! Compared to her past videos i.e. Telephone directed by Jonas Ackerlund, a movie director and Bad Romance, directed by another film director, Francis Lawrence, Alejandro will be directed by Steven Klein, a fashion photographer. In an interview with MTV, Gaga stated that ALEJANDRO will be about Fashion and Lifestyle and that Klein understands her ‘love of the lie’ in art and her “I am what I wear” lifestyle. As of now, im PATIENTLY waiting for photos of the video shoot to leak! I know patience is a virture but I JUST CANT WAIT! Thanks but no thanks so American Idol for having Gaga on the show and cutting 2 minutes out of her performance. Us Little Monsters, Appreciate it! If you want to watch the full uncut performance, follow the link below.
